Oh, well I'll try to recap it for you. I think PB got the 11-03-75 photographer location too far east. I noticed the upstairs window is almost perfectly centered between the branches of tree #14. So I drew a line on the aerial map from the window location (center of the small east front gable) across the approximate tree center. While Dr. Lee "did not eliminate" the possibility that the initial attack occurred where the golf club head and a piece of shaft were found inside the driveway, in his opinion those items of evidence and the "stain" as he called it, of blood adjacent to them was caused this way:

I'm guessing the tree in the center of this insert photo from, oh, late 1975 perhaps, (sometime after the leaves were raked?), was later removed in the construction of the new driveway. The photo in the insert first appeared in the New York Times December 21st, 1975. Perhaps it was taken for the article.

The upper left insert photo, highlighted in blue, was probably taken by Detective Sorenson the day after the murder. Tree #3, in the center of the photo, is "The Tree", the tree under which Martha's body was found.

The lower left insert photo was taken by Yosh in 2000.

According to the map Thomas Sorensen made at the drime scene the day after the murder, Martha's body was found under a tree located 161' from the Northwest corner of the Moxley house.
